A Renewed Mind

Paul tell us, and so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice-the kind He will accept. When you think of what He has done for you, is this too much to ask?

Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect His will really is. Romans12: 1-2.

God's has good, acceptable, and perfect plans for his children. He wants us to be transformed people with renewed minds, living to honor and obey Him. Because He wants only what is best for us, and because He gave His Son to make our new lives possible, we should joyfully give ourselves as living sacrifices for his service.

Be Responsible

If you are to lazy to plow in the right season, you will have no food at the harvest. Proverbs 20:4.

You've heard similar lessons; If you don't eat, your stomach will be empty; if you don't save, you won't have money when you need it. God wants us to look forward for future needs and prepare for them. We can't expect Him to come to our aid when we cause our own problems through lack of planning and action. He provides for us, but He also expects us to be responsible.

God cares for us.

Are You Rejoicing Today?

This is a day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118: 24.

There are days when the last thing we want to do is rejoice and be glad. Oftentimes our situation is out of hand, our mood is down, and our guilt or sorrow is overwhelming. We can relate to the writers of the psalms who often felt this way. The psalmists were always honest with God no matter how low they felt. When you don't feel like rejoicing, tell God exactly how you feel. You will find that God somehow will give you a reason to rejoice and be glad. And when you talk to God, let your prayers end in praise.

We must understand that God has given us this day to live and to serve Him- be glad!

Expression of My Gratitude

In the past fourteen months, the Lord has done some extraordinary things in my life. And today I can boldly declare Ephesians 3: 20:

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.

The Lord has opened doors that I never dreamed I'd walk through. Let me share what's He's done:

  1. September 24th, 2005 Official Book Signing and Release
  2. December 11th, 2005, Book Signing, Fairfield Suisun Christian Center, Suisun, California
  3. February 4th, 2006 Book Signing at AJ's Closet, Indianapolis
  4. February 24th, 2006 Interview, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN)
  5. March 20th, 2006, Book Talk at Danville Public Library
  6. April 17, 2006 Interview, The Harvest Show

This is why I can say God is so Good!
