The Virginia Tech Tragedy

My prayers goes out for all of the families that have lost love ones in this senseless act of violence. We don't have answers to why? But God does. We all are feeling the sadness of this lost.
God's word tells us with all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. II Corinthians 1:3-5.

Jesus Is Not Dead!

The Good News Jesus is Alive Today and for Evermore.

Here are words that have brought more comfort than any others to thousands of sad hearts.

Christ died for our sins, was buried, and that He was raised on the third day, and was seen by many. These things were not the imaginations of a few people, but were "according to the Scriptures."
This is the evidence of Christ's resurrection, His victory over death and the grave, Paul also declare that, if Christ rose from the dead, we too shall be raised in Him. This is the great and glorious hope of the church, the comfort of all sad hearts, the victory which takes away the sting of death, and the light that dispels the gloom of the tomb.

Can You Answer This Question?

As I was driving to the store today, I looked to my left and there was a church building. In the yard stood a sign that read: " When my body dies, where am I going to live?"
True thoughts begin to enter my mind, Hebrews 9:27. It is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgement. Also 1 John 5:12-13 says he who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the mane of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

Whoever believes in God's Son has eternal life. John says we can know we have it. Our assurance is based on God's promise that He has given us eternal life through His Son.
All people die physically, but Christ died so that we would not have to die spiritually.
