Tips on Watering Your Body

After all the Turkey and trimming, drink half your body weight in ounces of purified water daily.

Drink water as soon as you awake in morning.

Drink a glass of water right before each meal to help you consume less food.

Avoid caffeinated drinks like coffee, regular tea and soft drinks that act as diuretics.

Drink herbal teas as well as water.

Squeeze some lemon juice into your water; lemon juice is reputed to help relieve constipation, bloating and heartburn.

Carry a bottle of water with you when you go out.

Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables also supplies extra water.

Conference Highlights-Checkup B4 U Crackup

As women, we’re bombarded with the pressures of life. Juggling family, ministry and work can be overwhelming. Desperation can set in. If we don’t get a check up from time to time, we’ll definitely crack up. We need to take care of ourselves physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Last month my incredible mother, Quester Adams was invited to speak at Come As You Community Christian Church, in Fort Wayne Indiana. Quester was one of several workshop leaders at their 2nd annual women’s conference.

Quester encouraged women to make a regular appointment with “The Doctor” to ward off anxiety, depression and a nervous breakdown. Spiritual check ups are vital to living this Christian life.

Women also had the opportunity to meet Quester and purchase a signed copy of her book, A Meaningful Gift: Passing On The Richness of God’s Love. Quester, along with Debra Berry, author of Be Restored, fielded questions from women interested in becoming a published author.

God's Son Jesus Is The Reason For The Season

Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner. So as we praise and thank God for material and spiritual blessing, we should also thank Him for answered prayer. Remember when you asked God for protection , strength, comfort, patience, love, or other special needs, and He supplied them? Beware of taking God's provision and answered prayer for granted.

Don't forget when you're gathered around the table with family and friends. To ask the Lord to give you an opportunity to tell your unreached love ones that Jesus loves you with an everlasting love. A love that brought Him to the cross, and died in your place, was buried, and rose again. He is in heaven sitting on His Father's right side, making your wrongs right. Why? Because He loves you.

Also, tell them that they too can have material and spiritual blessing. By telling Jesus that you believe by faith (without seeing Him) that He died for you, was buried, and He rose again for you. Asked Him to save you and be your Lord and Savior forever.
