Do You Give God Gratitude for Deliverance and Victory?

The only sure way to be delivered and have the victory from surrounding evil is to call upon God for help and strength. There is no limit in God's protection of His people which can take on many forms.
In Psalm 18: 2-3, David spoke to the Lord and said, the Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
And I am saved from my enemies.

David characterized God's care with five military symbols.
God is like (1) a rock that can't be moved by any who would harm us,
(2) a fortress of place of safety where the enemy can't follow,
(3) a Shield that comes between us and harm,
(4) a horn of salvation, a symbol of might and power,
(5) a stronghold high above our enemies.
