A Year Of Jubilee

Have you somehow become a slave to something or someone?
Don't despair, special child of God, The days that seem the darkest, when you least expecting, your day of rejoicing is coming!
Leviticus 25 tells about the year of jubilee, a happy time in which those who'd been sold into slavery could return to their families and others regained property they had lost through lack of funds.
You see, precious one, all this provides a glimpse of what is promised when you receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, your Redeemer! Because of His blood that was shed we are set free from the bondage of sin and become heirs of the kingdom "which He promised to those who love Him" (James 2:5).
"Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heirs through God" (Galatians4:7).
There are so many wonderful marks of His Care, love, and protection of us. Decide to know your God and His Word. Take time out of your busy schedule to study God's word and to know without a doubt that He is God and He offers hope that can keep you through any unspeakable day or night.

It is a good feeling when you can say, I thank you, Lord that I have been bought with a price, redeemed by Your blood. You paid it all. I have the Holy Spirit living within me. I am no longer a slave to sin. "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (2 Corinthians 3:17).
