Life To Its Fullest

I have come that they may have life and have it in abundance. John 10:10.

A baby bird is comfortable in the nest, but it is far better to expand one's wings, launch out into the clear, blue sky, and live life to its fullest potential. It cannot be accomplished sitting in the nest.

A nest which God seeks to turn upside down in our lives is spiritual security. Many Christians are satisfied to live at a level far below God's best.
God's desire is to get you out of the nest and up into the air.

His Knowledge and Wisdom is Far Greater Than Man's

It's amazing, how the Holy Spirit works in our lives. When I woke up this morning, Isaiah 55:8 was on my heart and mind. I had to open the Word of God, and allow His to speak to me.
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,"declares the LORD.

The people of Israel were foolish to act as if they knew what God was thinking and planning. We too are as foolish to try to fit God into our mold-to make His plans and purposes conform to ours, instead, we must strive to fit into His plans.

Would You Have a Mark?

The Lord said to him, " Go through the midst of the city, even through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst." (Ezekiel 9:4).

As I read this chapter, it remind me of our city to ask the question. Who?

God told the man with the writing case to put a mark on those who were faithful to God. Their faithfulness was determined by their sensitivity to and sorrow over their nation's sin. Those with the mark was spared when the six men began to destroy the wicked people.
