Do You Give God Gratitude for Deliverance and Victory?

The only sure way to be delivered and have the victory from surrounding evil is to call upon God for help and strength. There is no limit in God's protection of His people which can take on many forms.
In Psalm 18: 2-3, David spoke to the Lord and said, the Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
And I am saved from my enemies.

David characterized God's care with five military symbols.
God is like (1) a rock that can't be moved by any who would harm us,
(2) a fortress of place of safety where the enemy can't follow,
(3) a Shield that comes between us and harm,
(4) a horn of salvation, a symbol of might and power,
(5) a stronghold high above our enemies.

Are You Spreading The Good News About God?

Spreading the good news about God around the world comes joy. As we see the gospel go throughout the earth, as the psalmist speak of the fulfillment of the Great Commission. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28: 18-20). If you believe by faith that God's Son, Jesus, died on the cross, was buried, and was raised from the dead. Count yourself among that great crowd of believers worldwide who know the Savior; praise the Lord for His good news; and share that gospel so that the harvest will be abundant.

Trust God Know Matter What

When you have loss hope, praying for relief from despair. We must continue to trust God even when He doesn't answer us immediately. Understand that God works through people, and sometimes all we need to do is talk over a problem with a friend to help put it in perspective.
You may ask as the psalmist David "How long, O Lord? Just as David expressed his feelings to God and found strength. We can do the same. Tell Him all about it, and by the end of your prayer, you will be able to express hope and trust in God. Through prayer we can express our feelings and talk our problems out with God. He helps us regain the right perspective, and gives us peace Habakkuk 3: 17-19).

We are already into a New Year, the middle of January with light snow covering the winter grass. It's cold outside, and you maybe finding it a little bit difficult to swallow. A sore throat? Well, just maybe this cough and sore throat remedy will help you.
I thought to myself, aha, it's worth a try. And I decided to share it with you. Since I take Nature's Sunshine super supplemental vitamins which work very well for me . I ran across this remedy in one of there booklet.

Dash of cayenne pepper (capsicum)
Tsp of honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
Mix ingredients together and heat to desired temperature.

God is Sovereign

The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates (Psalm 11:5).

God does not preserve believers from difficult circumstances, but He tests both the righteous and the wicked. For some, God's tests become a refining fire, while for others, they become an incinerator for destruction. Don't ignore or defy the tests and challenges that come your way.
Use them as opportunities for you to grow.

What Are You Struggling With?

May it be you have lost your job, a broken relationship, or maybe you're in financial straits. Whatever your situation, it seems there is no way out.
You ask the question, What will I do?
You must do as the apostle Peter told the suffering, hurting, persecuted Christians scattered
throughout Asia Minor to "stand firm" in the grace of God (1 Peter 5: 12), you maybe thinking it strange that suffering would come your way. Just as some of the Christians did. Peter wrote, "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:6-7).
Have you asked God to hear your call? He has promised never to desert you, nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
You can say without a doubt, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear what man does to me!"

A Year Of Jubilee

Have you somehow become a slave to something or someone?
Don't despair, special child of God, The days that seem the darkest, when you least expecting, your day of rejoicing is coming!
Leviticus 25 tells about the year of jubilee, a happy time in which those who'd been sold into slavery could return to their families and others regained property they had lost through lack of funds.
You see, precious one, all this provides a glimpse of what is promised when you receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, your Redeemer! Because of His blood that was shed we are set free from the bondage of sin and become heirs of the kingdom "which He promised to those who love Him" (James 2:5).
"Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heirs through God" (Galatians4:7).
There are so many wonderful marks of His Care, love, and protection of us. Decide to know your God and His Word. Take time out of your busy schedule to study God's word and to know without a doubt that He is God and He offers hope that can keep you through any unspeakable day or night.

It is a good feeling when you can say, I thank you, Lord that I have been bought with a price, redeemed by Your blood. You paid it all. I have the Holy Spirit living within me. I am no longer a slave to sin. "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (2 Corinthians 3:17).

A New Year With A New Beginning!

Are you in need of a heart transplant this year? If so, the word of God tells us our hearts don't have to stay wicked and deceitful. Because, God is in the business of heart transplants, taking hearts of stone and replacing them with hearts of flesh. It happens at salvation. When God miraculously performs this divine transplant, He them writes His laws upon our hearts and puts His Spirit within us. He becomes our God, and we become His people. Life begins-life eternal-and with it the process of making us m ore and more like our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ezekiel 36:26 says, "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."

So on this first day of a new year, examine your heart, precious one. Are you sure that you have a new heart, that you are a child of God, born truly from above-a new creature in Christ Jesus?

Say to Him, O God, You know all things. There's nothing hidden from Your sight. If I am Your child, let Your Spirit bear witness with my spirit. And if not, bring me into Your family. Give me a heart for You, a new start that leads to life eternal and grants me the privilege of calling You Abba, Father, forever and ever.
