Difficult Times Will Come

Paul warned us about the "last days" The last days began after Jesus' resurrection when the Holy Spirit came upon the believers at Pentecost. The "last days" will continue until Christ's second coming.
But know this: difficult times will come in the last days. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to the form of religion but denying its power. Avoid these people!

Their Days Are Numbered

The lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will destroy him with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:8.

Whatever you believe, know this. God is in charge of the world's affairs, and the days of rebellious kingdoms of earth are numbered. our God reigns! Ezekeil the prophet, speaking centuries ago about not lasting of anything not founded on kingdom values, said,"Doom has gone out. The rod (of wickedness) has blossomed; arrogance has bloomed" (Ezk 7:10). Notice the steps: doom appears, sin blossoms, and pride has budded. And the fruit of all this? Dissolution and decay.
