Ask For Prayer

But Simon answered and said,"Pray to the Lord for me yourselves, so that nothing of what you have said may come upon me" (Acts 8:24).

Were you defensive, hurt or angry, the last time a friend or parent rebuked you? We can all learn a lesson from Simon and his reaction to what Peter told him. He spoke loudly, "Pray to the Lord for me." If you are rebuked for a serious mistake, it is for your good. admit your wrong, repent quickly, and ask for prayer.
