Are You Vacation Deprived?

I read this article in a magazine that I picked up from the Nature's Market store. It stated that more than one-third of Americans don't take all their paid vacation days, according to a survey by Expedia.com. On average, three days per year remain unused. However, vacations can rejuvenate, improve productivity, enhance health, and help family members to reconnect. Studies have shown the following;

  • Men who take vacations are about 30 percent less likely to die from heart disease.

  • Women who vacation are less likely to be depressed, tired, or dissatisfied with their marriages.
